I have been fascinated by the information on the Fosters of Fishlake.
Marion foster the daughter of Thomas and Winifred Ashforth was my Grandmother. There is a family story that there may be huguenot connection with the Fosters I don't know if you have found any such connection.

Hi, I'm the daughter of Tom Murray, my grandparents were Michael and Hannah (Fitzpatrick) Murray of Half Moon Lane, Low Spennymoor. I remember Great Aunt Lizzie and with my late dad visited Mary (Sennet) Armitage and Austin's widow, Ivy. I'm in contact with cousin Hilary who's helped enormously with my family research. Found your website when looking for info on my Gran, I think she was in service with the Salvin family. Found your info on the Fitzpatricks very interesting.

Are your F's any relation to mine.? William F. married Catherine Joyce 9th May 1831 and lived at Minors Clonmore. I am descended from their daughter Catherine christened at Sacred Heart Church Templemore 26th May 1830. C. moved to England but family stories say that the mother died and the rest of the family went to the US after a brief time in Killarney as the new railway went through their farm in Minors and they had to leave. I can't trace them in the UK or US so maybe they didn't go? Thanks. Hilary

Hi
I've just stumbled upon your website whilst researching my husbands side of the family. He is a grandson of Gordon Foster, son of Francis (and Beatrice), who was son of George (and Mary) son of Francis (and Maria) and son of Robert (and Mary). Really interesting info. If you had any information on Robert and the Fosters going further back, I'd be interested. Thanks. Bernie

John Keay
Hello hello!

My name is John Keay, my dad's dad, Luther Keay raised his 5 kids in Illinois. I don't know my family history beyond that. Just thought i'd drop you a line. Very weird to see folks with MY NAME on a tombstone! (even if 'john' is probably the most generic name out there, still)

Thanks for the website. Please feel free to contact me if you've got questions. I'm not sure i'd be of much help but it's cool to see the Keay family name all over your website. It's good to be a Keay!
